Two are the Rockford’s essential traits: full-screen pictures and photo albums. You can use full-screen images pretty much everywhere throughout the theme, especially in pages [...]
It’s celebration time at THBThemes! We’ve started a couple of years ago, a period which seems to us both long and brief at the same time, with the release of our first theme Eruption and today we’re reaching what we consider a little milestone of ours: our tenth theme. To proper emphasize this achievement, we’re pleased to announce the release of our first free theme ever, BigFoot, a big, bold WordPress theme for creatives.
When it comes to creating a new theme, we always aim for the big target, which in our case means delivering great visuals with superior user experience. To us, that what the words “premium theme” are all about.
BigFoot features a super cool “Showcase” page template, which allows users to create pages that are composed by big, bold, beautiful full-screen slides and you could use it as a great minimal home page, or an effective way to display a presentation. To get a better feeling of this feature, we’ve also prepared a short video showing how easy it is to achieve great results with so little efforts.
As long with several variants for both the Blog, Portfolio and Photogallery, we’ve also baked what we call a “Footer stripe” system right into the theme, as sometimes it’s nice to have a call-to-action at the bottom of the page, or a simple Twitter stream, or some social links for your visitors. Create as many as you want, and associate each one to multiple pages with ease!
Last but not least, BigFoot was designed for WooCommerce, which means a deep optimization for the most renowed WordPress plugin for e-commerce needs in the game: you’ll find a dedicated administration panel with a variety of options that are going to allow you to manage specific aspects of your shop pages, so that you’ll always be in control.
Want to learn more about BigFoot? Check out the demo, or head straight to the Features page, to get a glance of all the great possibilities you’re gonna enjoy using the theme. Don’t be shy, and go download the theme!
After three months from the theme’s release and more than 8000 downloads, we’re closing the comments thread for our free theme BigFoot.
Thanks everyone for the excitement that this theme has generated; the theme will be kept up to date in the future, so head back to the theme page once in a while.
